Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support a complex, multi-entity accounting environment. You will review financial statements, identify risks, and manage intercompany activity, ensuring accurate financials across 85–100 entities.

The role requires analyzing statements, investigating issues, and independently resolving discrepancies while supporting month-end, forecasting, and the Sage Intacct transition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at the Senior Accountant level.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing financial statements, not just reconciliations.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment with separate LLCs or operating companies.
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, including transactions and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements across 85–100 entities for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze balance sheets and income statements to identify discrepancies and risks.
• Investigate accounting issues and recommend corrections.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across LLCs/business units.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
• Provide higher-level review of Staff Accountants' work.
• Support month-end and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with historical cleanup and reconciliations.
• Understand the financial/story behind numbers and flag issues.
• Support forecasting and banking-related accounting activities.
• Assist with transition to Sage Intacct.
• Research issues independently with limited guidance.
