The ideal candidate will manage financial reporting, internal controls, and integration-related tasks, with exposure to mergers and acquisitions and cross-entity accounting.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of accounting experience; Senior level considered for more extensive experience.
• Strong hands-on accrual-based accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, GL accounting, and financial statement prep.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accrual-based bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Post journal entries for intercompany and subsidiary transactions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain records across multiple entities.
• Handle commissions, expenses, accruals, and other operational accounting activities.
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Support accounting transitions related to mergers and acquisitions.
