Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant based in the United States. You will manage accrual accounting, general ledger, monthly and quarterly closes, and intercompany transactions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial records.

You will work with finance, credit risk, and leadership teams to strengthen internal controls under U.S. GAAP, prepare financial statements, and identify process improvements to accelerate close and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience or more.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in financial reporting and close processes.
• Proficient in spreadsheet analysis and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and journal entries.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Post intercompany and subsidiary journal entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain internal controls aligned with U.S. GAAP.
• Support mergers and acquisitions accounting integrations.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate close and improve reporting.
