Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the monthly close for multiple entities, including lease and prepaid expense accounting. You will analyze balance sheet and income statement activity, investigate variances, and drive resolution with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience and month-end close ownership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement analysis.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own components of the monthly close for multiple entities and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity and investigate variances.
• Own ASC 842 lease accounting including new leases and amendments.
• Manage prepaid expense processes and amortization schedules.
• Prepare reconciliations, supporting workpapers, and provide evidence-based conclusions.
• Support process improvements, internal controls, and audits.
