Job summary

Lighteum is a leading medical device components company seeking a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role at our San Diego facility. The position supports global accounting close, financial reporting, and governance for the Group’s holding companies and non-operating entities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 4–7+ years of experience, and a CPA or equivalent. Proficiency with ERP close tools (IFS/Planful) and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 4–7+ years of public accounting and/or industry experience.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• Experience with ERP systems and close/reporting tools (IFS and Planful preferred).
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own key components of the monthly close and consolidation process.
• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure reporting consistency across entities.
• Manage accounting for holding companies and intercompany activity, including reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and external providers on filings and governance requirements.
