Job summary

Pivotal Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate entities, including general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements.

The role collaborates with the Controller, CFO, property management, operations teams, and external CPAs to ensure accuracy and timely reporting, intercompany activity, CAM charges, taxes, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive professional accounting experience required.
• Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or real estate investment preferred.
• Experience with multiple entities and intercompany transactions preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and monthly close procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for real estate, operating, investment, and holding entities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, depreciation, amortization, and other monthly adjustments.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures on time.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany, debt, and other ledgers.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and tax schedules.
