Pavion Corp. is seeking a talented Accountant to join our shared services team in a role focused on the monthly close, financial reporting, and accounting across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong knowledge of US GAAP. You will partner with AP/AR, Payroll, Treasury, and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of at least two accounting disciplines.
• Experience closing books for multiple entities/sites/business units.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to monthly general ledger close and reporting, targeting a 4–5 day close.
• Manage P&L and Balance Sheet accounting including accruals, fixed assets, leases, payroll, intercompany, AR/AP.
• Research and resolve variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Own end-to-end close activities across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, FP&A to resolve issues at the source.
• Align with Shared Service Accounting policies and best practices.
• Prepare business process documentation for core activities.
• Support onboarding of acquired entities into the shared services model.
