Role Overview

As a Senior Account Manager, you will execute projects independently with the support and direction of the Account Lead. Your responsibilities include timeline development and management, financial reporting, client-contact report development, client meetings, interaction with internal stakeholders, onsite program management, materials development, concept planning, and coordination with external vendors. You will own all aspects of client and project management, from kickoff to delivery.

What You Will Do
  • Execute projects autonomously, managing projects and working with interdepartmental teams
  • Provide oversight of content management databases/portals (e.g., Veeva, Datavision)
  • Work closely with Finance Director on account financials
  • Use financial tools to track data and forecast accurately
  • Develop client budgets, scope of work, and estimates with minimal revisions
  • Lead client meetings and calls, focusing on project status and completion
  • Complete client-contact reports accurately and with minimal supervision
  • Understand and discuss client strategies and objectives
  • Oversee and direct junior team members when needed
  • Handle relationship issues and resolve conflicts proactively
  • Participate in business planning sessions
  • Assist in preparing pitches and presentations, including research and scheduling
Requirements
  • Degree in life sciences, liberal arts, marketing, or communications, with an interest in medical communications and pharmaceutical marketing
  • 3-4 years of experience in account/project management in an agency setting; healthcare/pharma experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Solution-oriented with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable leading client calls
  • Highly organized, with good time management skills
  • Willing to travel up to 10% for programs (if requested)
