Job Description

Trucordia is looking for a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager responsible for growing our business—driving production and customer success outcomes including retention and relationship expansion.

The Senior Account Manager will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all client needs are met while engaging in cross-selling, account rounding, and developing new business. They will build relationships to understand client and prospect needs and provide solutions that effectively protect their risks. This role involves managing, retaining, and growing a diverse book of commercial lines accounts, including middle market accounts such as real estate, construction, GCs and Trade Contractors, manufacturers, tech companies, professional lines, and other classes of business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the account lifecycle: pre-renewal, renewal, post-renewal, stewardship, and client visits if needed.
  • Respond promptly to prospects and manage new client onboarding.
  • Evaluate marketing results and develop recommendations for clients.
  • Coordinate with teams to prepare risk management and insurance programs that balance competitive pricing with client interests.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and policies.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through collaboration with team members.
  • Understand clients' business and strategic priorities.
  • Analyze client needs and deliver practical solutions.
  • Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals, including loss summaries and coverage comparisons.
  • Participate in RFP processes and final presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience servicing commercial accounts.
  • At least 5 years of experience with the New York real estate market.
  • Knowledge of the five boroughs of New York City.
  • Developing knowledge of commercial insurance markets, especially in NY real estate and construction.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Agency Management Systems (AMS360 preferred).
  • Active P&C broker’s license.
  • College degree preferred.

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
