Job summary

Aon in Chicago seeks an Account Executive II to join our Construction & Infrastructure team. This hybrid role involves working onsite 2–3 days a week and collaborating with senior professionals to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new business.

You will build client relationships, analyze risk exposures, prepare proposals, and coordinate documentation, while pursuing a Property & Casualty license within four months.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, construction surety preferred.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder collaboration.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with thorough review practices.
• Independent yet collaborative with teams.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for risk analysis and premium calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team to develop coverage strategies and marketing for renewals and new business.
• Respond to client requests and service needs promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for new business and renewals.
• Analyze client risk exposures; develop and present tailored proposals.
• Maintain relationships with underwriting community and market partners.
• Process policies, endorsements, and cancellations as applicable.
• Review documents for accuracy and obtain signatures.
