Aon plc in Chicago is seeking an Account Executive II to join Construction & Infrastructure. You will collaborate with senior colleagues to develop coverage strategies, respond to client requests, and manage renewals and new business opportunities.

The role requires 7+ years in Property & Casualty insurance, with Construction Surety Bonds expertise. Hybrid work 2–3 days onsite. Bachelor's degree, and licensing within four months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, with a focus on Construction Surety Bonds.
• willingness to obtain an active P&C license within four months of hire (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new business.
• Respond promptly and accurately to client requests, inquiries, and service needs.
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation for new business and renewals.
• Analyze client risk exposures and coverage needs; develop and present tailored marketing proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with underwriting communities and partner markets.
• Process and issue policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations as applicable.
• Review documents for accuracy and obtain signatures.
• Calculate premium adjustments and related figures for insurance documentation.
• Lead and monitor ongoing insurance or risk retention programs to meet goals.
• Manage daily tasks using appropriate technology platforms.
