Job summary

Aon in Chicago is seeking an Account Executive II to join the Construction & Infrastructure group. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days onsite weekly and offers exposure to high‑level surety programs, complex indemnity structures, and strategic client engagement.

You will collaborate with senior underwriters and consultants, manage renewals and new business, analyze risk exposures, prepare tailored proposals, and maintain strong relationships with markets to drive growth within the

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably construction surety.
• Experience collaborating with high-level clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new opportunities.
• Respond promptly to client requests and service needs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for new business and renewals.
• Analyze client risk exposures and develop tailored marketing proposals.
• Build relationships with underwriting community and markets.
• Process and issue policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Review documents for signatures and distribute materials.
• Calculate premium adjustments and related figures.
• Lead and monitor ongoing insurance programs to meet goals.
• Manage daily tasks using technology tools.
