Job summary

Aon is seeking an Account Executive II in a hybrid Chicago-based role focused on Construction & Infrastructure. You will collaborate with senior team members to craft coverage strategies, respond to client requests, and manage renewals and new business documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within four months of hire (90 days).
• 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, Construction Surety Bonds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and prospective business.
• Respond promptly to client requests, inquiries, and service needs.
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation for new business and renewals.
• Analyze client-specific risk exposures and coverage needs; develop marketing proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with underwriting community and partner markets.
• Process and issue policies, renewals, endorsements, additions, deletions, and cancellations.
• Review and proofread documentation; ensure signatures are obtained and distributed.
• Calculate premium adjustments and related figures for insurance documentation.
• Lead and monitor ongoing insurance programs to meet performance goals.
