Job summary

Aon is seeking an Account Executive II for its Construction & Infrastructure team in a hybrid role across Chicago, Dallas, and other markets. You will develop coverage strategies, secure new business, and manage renewals with a focus on complex surety and P&C solutions.

You will collaborate with senior peers, analyze risk exposures, present tailored proposals, and maintain essential client and underwriting relationships to drive performance and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, Construction Surety preferred.
• Proven ability to build rapport with high-level clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and thorough peer reviews.
• Independent but collaborative, with adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure while maintaining flexibility.
• Solid math and analytical skills to support risk analysis and premium calculations.
• Strong relationships with national and regional carriers in Surety and P&C markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; client-focused.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and creating client presentations.
• Commitment to Aon policies and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new business.
• Respond promptly to client requests, inquiries, and service needs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for new business and renewals.
• Analyze client risk exposures; present tailored proposals.
• Build relationships with underwriting communities and key markets.
• Process policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations as applicable.
• Review documents, obtain signatures, and distribute materials.
• Calculate premium adjustments for insurance and provider docs.
• Lead and report on ongoing programs to meet performance goals.
• Manage daily tasks using appropriate technology platforms.
