Job summary

Babel Street is seeking a Senior Account Executive to own and grow our Australian, New Zealand, and ASEAN business, driving pipeline, new customer acquisition, partner engagement, and revenue growth across government and commercial markets.

You will manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through close, collaborate with sales, product, and legal teams, and maintain accurate forecasting and CRM records.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise, public-sector or technology sales experience, preferably SaaS/B2B/B2G.
• Proven attainment of sales revenue goals with pipeline, forecast and deal progression.
• Experience selling to or through government, defence, law enforcement, intelligence, critical infrastructure, cyber, data, risk, national security or regulated industries.
• Operate across multi-country territories AUS/NZ/ASEAN, with autonomous territory management.
• Manage complex sales cycles leveraging internal resources across functions while keeping stakeholders moving.
• Credible technical demos and discovery for OSINT, analytics, AI-enabled workflows, or related use cases.
• Strong partner and reseller discipline, including qualifying partner-led opportunities and pricing clarity.
• Protect renewals and existing accounts through proactive engagement and expansion opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior executives and contracting officers.
• High CRM discipline with timely updates and clear account notes.
• Balance competing priorities across deals, partners, renewals and internal workstreams.
