Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in Spain (Remote) seeks an experienced Senior Account Executive to grow the Physical Systems Simulation business. You will own the full sales cycle, selling CAE software to automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturers, collaborating with engineering teams and sales engineers to demonstrate value.

The role requires a background in FEA/CFD/MBS or multiphysics software, a track record of quota attainment, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business is preferred.
• 3+ years of enterprise software sales and 8+ years in software sales experience.
• Strong background selling FEA, CFD, MBS or multiphysics software solutions.
• Experience managing complex, technical sales cycles with enterprise customers.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in engineering software.
• Understanding of CAE workflows and selling to engineers and CTOs.
• Ability to explain engineering simulation concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; willingness to learn continuously.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy for CAE simulation in the territory.
• Identify target customers and manage relationships with OEMs and Tier 1s.
• Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value deals.
• Collaborate with technical sales engineers on product demos and POC projects.
• Track activity, pipeline and forecasts in CRM and share market feedback.
