Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Strategic Account Director to drive new business growth in Media and Telecommunications markets. The role emphasizes hunter/farmer skills, VOC-driven proposition development, and cross-functional collaboration with KYC, fraud, identity and marketing teams. Travel up to 50% may be required.

You will lead negotiations on complex multi-year contracts, manage renewals, and build lasting relationships with senior executives to deliver measurable ROI for clients and TransUnion.

Qualifications

• Proven success in high-performing new-business sales.
• Ability to build senior-level relationships and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Experience negotiating multi-year, multi-million-pound contracts (buyer or supplier).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage C-suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and convert new-business opportunities across target Media and Telecommunications organisations.
• Establish trusted partnerships with stakeholders across KYC, fraud and identity, digital, marketing and C-suite functions.
• Position TransUnion as a long-term strategic partner aligning capabilities with client needs.
• Gather VOC to inform proposition development and service delivery.
• Identify cross-sell, upsell and net-new opportunities across TransUnion products and services.
• Co-create pilots and proofs of concept with senior stakeholders to drive ROI.
• Own revenue performance for the assigned portfolio including renewals and growth.
• Lead negotiations for new solutions and multi-year commercial agreements.
• Maintain territory plans, forecast pipeline and coordinate cross-functional teams.
