Energy Exemplar is seeking an Account Director to drive new business growth with power trading organizations. This senior enterprise sales role requires deep knowledge of how power is traded, scheduled, settled and optimized, and the ability to translate that into strategic software opportunities.

You will develop and execute territory plans with dedicated sales and marketing support, author compelling proposals, and lead cycles from discovery to close while engaging with senior executives

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise software sales.
• Proven track record closing high-value deals.
• Experience selling to power traders or market participants.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify target accounts across the power trading market.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline through prospecting and events.
• Develop territory and account plans to support revenue targets.
• Lead opportunities from discovery through close with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in the CRM.
