Guidehouse seeks an Account Director to drive growth and client satisfaction within its Energy Providers Practice. You will lead complex solution selling, oversee delivery, and develop long-term relationships with Investor-Owned Utilities, cross-selling consulting, technology, and risk management services.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in management consulting for power utilities, executive-level energy experience, and proven BD leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; ten-plus years in management consulting within power utilities.
• Executive-level power utilities/commercial energy experience with energy market infrastructure.
• Proven BD leadership, proposals, opportunities expansion.
• Full lifecycle solution experience: strategy to operations.
• Ability to travel up to 75%+.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and client satisfaction in Energy Providers Practice, selling and overseeing delivery of strategic advisory, technology, and risk management engagements, focused on Investor-Owned Utilities.
• Develop/expand long-term client relationships to lead to repeat business and exceed annual sales targets.
• Lead pursuit and closure of new consulting engagements.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with key Utility client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with delivery, solutions and technology teams to cross-sell offerings.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff.
• Manage all aspects of client relationships and engagement delivery.
