Job summary

UVA Health seeks an experienced patient-focused service representative to manage complex patient scheduling, registration, and communications across care teams. The incumbent will handle registration, payments, referrals, and scheduling for multiple specialties, while maintaining professional patient interactions and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
• Experience: 2 years relevant experience required.
• No licensure required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule multi-specialty and multispecialty appointments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Register patients, collect payments, and issue receipts.
• Coordinate check-in/check-out and update AVS and records.
• Maintain privacy and accuracy in EMR data entry and documentation.
• Communicate scheduling preferences and resolve conflicts with care teams.
