Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories in California seeks an Academic Account Executive based in the San Diego area to drive sales growth of our Life Science portfolio across academic and research institutions.

This role blends strategic account management, business development, and technical sales to build relationships, identify opportunities, and expand adoption of Genomics and Proteomics solutions across ddPCR, qPCR, Imaging, Western Blot and Chromatography workflows.

Qualifications

• 8 years of sales experience with focus on Genomics/Proteomics capital equipment and consumables.
• Experience selling to academic or government customers preferred.
• Demonstrates scientific fluency with Bio-Rad product portfolio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Genomics/Proteomics solutions.
• Engage academic customers through on-site visits, demonstrate and support Bio-Rad products.
• Build a healthy sales funnel with CRM updates and forecasting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, FAS, and Marketing to expand Bio-Rad footprint.
• Provide timely reporting on activities, trends, and customer needs.
