Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Academic Account Executive to cover the Ann Arbor, MI region.

You will drive adoption of Genomics and Proteomics solutions, conduct on-site customer visits, and demonstrate Bio‑Rad consumables and equipment to advance opportunities. Successful candidates will have a BA/BS (or higher), 5+ years of sales experience in related portfolios, and strong scientific understanding.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS (required) MS/PhD (preferred).
• 5 years of sales experience with Genomics and/or Proteomics capital equipment & consumables portfolios preferred.
• Previous experience selling to academic and government customers preferred.
• Candidates must demonstrate scientific understanding and fluency in the areas Bio-Rad serves.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (Verbal & Written).
• Highly motivated with a demonstrated record of success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Bio-Rad’s Genomics and Proteomics solutions including ddPCR, qPCR, Imaging, Western Blot and Chromatography workflows to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Engage directly with academic customers through regular on-site visits to advance active opportunities. You will demonstrate, sell and support customers on Bio-Rad’s diverse line of consumables and small equipment.
• Build and manage a healthy sales funnel by identifying, nurturing, and growing opportunities, with consistent CRM updates and accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Field Application Specialists, and Marketing to expand Bio-Rad’s footprint and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and in their ongoing partnership with Bio-Rad.
• Maintain strong communication and technical fluency, including product knowledge, demonstration skills, and timely reporting to leadership on activities, trends, and customer needs.
