Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Senior Workforce Absence Team Lead to oversee examiners and technical staff across client programs. You will partner with clients, guide operations, and ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency in claims handling.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple programs with a focus on mentoring, performance tracking, and reporting. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Six years of related claim experience, including at least two years in multi-client claims supervision.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary operational contact for clients across multiple programs.
• Lead and participate in client meetings to support project initiatives and strategic alignment.
• Supervise a team of examiners and staff, ensuring balanced workloads and high performance.
• Monitor claim processes and ensure updates are reflected in client communications and documentation.
• Develop action plans to address operational challenges and improve outcomes.
• Prepare reports on claims trends, operational metrics, and improvement initiatives.
