Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a highly skilled Credit Administrator to support the Asset Based Lending (ABL) portfolio. The role focuses on underwriting, portfolio management, and adherence to credit policies within a collaborative banking team.

You will work with senior credit leaders to monitor deals, provide training, and ensure accurate underwriting aligned with bank standards. Travel may be required and prior ABL experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other applicable field.
• 8+ years in ABL underwriting and portfolio management and commercial credit analysis.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Word/Excel).
• Experience with Solifi/Stucky system and with Salesforce.com/nCino.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide portfolio management support for the ABL lending platform, staying current with new deal pipelines and staffing.
• Coach and develop Portfolio Management staff; participate in calls and customer meetings; understand credit policies and business line strategies.
• Underwrite opportunities, renewals, modifications, borrowing base reviews, field exams, appraisals, loan approvals, ARJs and covenant testing.
• Meet with ABL leadership and RSCA to review portfolio, ensure teamwork and effective portfolio management with a customer focus.
• Maintain knowledge of concentration limits and industry appetite; develop relationships with internal subject matter experts.
• Ensure adherence to loan policies and underwriting standards through memos and ARJs; promote a collaborative credit culture.
• Ensure PMs participate in portfolio reviews and rolling loan reviews; monitor underwriting quality.
