Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a Credit Administrator - Asset Based Lending (ABL) to lead a team of Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts, ensuring consistent commercial underwriting aligned with our credit policies.

The role focuses on pipeline management, PM development, and adherence to standards across the ABL platform. The position requires 8+ years in ABL underwriting, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Salesforce.com and nCino Bank Operating System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 8+ years of ABL underwriting and portfolio management and commercial credit analysis.
• MS Office proficiency required, especially Word/Excel.
• Familiarity with Solifi/Stucky system preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce.com and nCino is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts in ABL underwriting and portfolio management.
• Monitor new deal pipeline, staff deals, and support PM development.
• Coach PMs on underwriting, renewals, loan advances, ARJs, and covenant testing.
• Review portfolio with regional leaders to ensure alignment with policies and credit culture.
• Maintain knowledge of concentration limits and industry appetite across portfolios.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs to ensure consistent underwriting standards.
• Lead enterprise-wide adherence to loan policy and underwriting memos.
• Coordinate annual training to stay updated on underwriting practices.
