B&A Precision, a seasoned CNC manufacturer, is seeking a Senior 5-Axis CNC Milling Setup Specialist in Milford, CT. You will set up and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, program basic G-code/M-code, and verify parts with precision gauges to ensure tolerance accuracy.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to maintain production flow, drive continuous improvement, and uphold quality across Aerospace, Defense, and Medical components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC milling experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
• Comfort working cross-functionally and sharing best practices.
• U.S. Person Status.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines.
• Operate and adjust Fanuc controls; write and edit basic CNC programs (G-code/M-code).
• Program and work with positional indexers for complex features.
• Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T fundamentals.
• Use precision measuring instruments and gauges to validate first-piece and production dimensions.
• Collaborate within a team-based environment to support efficient workflows and quality targets.

Senior 5-Axis CNC Milling Setup SpecialistStep into a shop where precision is the language and craftsmanship is the culture. At B&A Precision—a mid-sized CNC manufacturer with more than 50 years serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical sectors—you’ll spend your day transforming complex blueprints into flawless parts.A day in your roleYour morning begins at a vertical mill—sometimes 3-axis, often 4-axis, and regularly a full 5-axis setup. You load tools, dial in offsets, and command Fanuc controls with confidence. You write and edit basic G-code/M-code, call up programs, and coordinate with positional indexers to hit challenging features. Before the spindle ever climbs to speed, you verify your first piece using precision instruments and gauges. Throughout the run, you compare results to blueprints and apply your working knowledge of GD&T to maintain exacting tolerances.You’ll collaborate with a team that values accuracy and repeatability, keeping production flowing efficiently and to spec.
