Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced CNC machinist for production and aerospace‑grade parts. You will set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and grinders, read engineering drawings with GD&T, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Expect meticulous measurement checks and ongoing process improvements in a direct‑hire, shift‑based environment. Ideal candidates bring aerospace/military manufacturing precision experience, readiness to work 1st/2nd/Weekend shifts, and a strong mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC machinist from a production or job-shop environment.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T.
• Accustomed to precision standards common to aerospace/defense/medical manufacturing.
• Detail‑oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to build aerospace parts.
• Translate blueprints and GD&T into reliable, efficient setups.
• Inspect in‑process features using micrometers, indicators, and other hand metrology tools.
• Maintain tight tolerances and impeccable part quality.
• Troubleshoot tooling, workholding, and program issues; contribute to continuous improvement.
