Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned designer to deliver 3D substation models and detailed layouts for high voltage projects. The role blends office work with field-informed design, requiring expertise in AutoCAD, Inventor, P4A, and SDS to produce accurate drawings and BOMs.

You will collaborate with engineers and a senior designer, interpret vendor data, and perform client walkdowns to ensure designs meet IEEE standards. Hybrid schedule offered, located in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• We require 8+ years of 3D substation design and physical design experience.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools: AutoCAD, Inventor, P4A, Vault Pro, and SDS.
• Ability to visualize in 3D and layout equipment per IEEE standards.
• Able to follow CAD standards and collaborate with engineers and designers.
• Must not require visa sponsorship for U.S. work authorization.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with engineers and a senior designer to produce HV substation design.
• Create a 3D model using SDS to generate GA, equipment plans, sections, and BOMs.
• Interpret vendor information and incorporate it into design deliverables.
• Conduct client substation walkdowns.
