Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking a Director of Operations for the Hatfield facility to lead the 2nd Shift, shape operational strategy, and partner with Sanitation, Trades, Wastewater, Rendering and other plant resources.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes accountability, safety, food quality, and continuous improvement, with autonomy to prioritize issues, drive results, and develop leadership across shifts across multiple functional areas.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or complex operations.
• Experience developing other leaders.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritize resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the 2nd Shift Operations and Trades leadership team, aligning with 3rd Shift Sanitation.
• Drive safety, food safety, quality, retention, labor/yield, compliance, and operational performance.
• Coordinate resources across Operations and plant functions when priorities compete.
• Lead through major operating issues by assessing impact, setting priorities, and coordinating resources.
• Strengthen leadership capability, accountability, succession, and team performance.
• Champion Clemens Operating System (COS) and continuous improvement.
• Maintain alignment and communication across shifts.
