Clemens Food Group is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead 2nd shift bacon production at Hatfield Main. You will oversee a large team, ensuring safety, quality, service, and cost goals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive productivity.

The role requires developing leaders on the floor, maintaining strong presence, and adapting to growth as the facility modernizes its capabilities. This is a high-impact leadership position with significant scope.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or similar complex environment.
• Experience leading large teams through front-line supervisors in high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams.
• Track record of solving operational problems and delivering measurable improvements.
• Ability to prioritize, anticipate challenges, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent leadership experience considered.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred, especially meat/protein/USDA-regulated contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift bacon production and own performance across safety, food safety, quality, service, labor, yield, cost, and productivity.
• Coach and develop front-line supervisors, strengthen accountability, build succession plans, and create an engaged team culture.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, lead daily operating discussions, adapt to staffing, equipment, and scheduling changes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, HR, and other teams to improve performance.
• Identify root causes and drive sustainable improvements in throughput, labor utilization, yield, reliability, quality, and efficiency.
• Support the introduction of new equipment, processes, technologies, and products as the operation grows.
