Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Tool Install Construction Coordinator (Superintendent) to lead tool install coordination in a wafer manufacturing environment. The role requires on-site work at the client facility in Manassas, VA, with early hours and potential Saturday flexibility.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in semiconductor construction, a related degree, and experience coordinating trades, managing schedules, and interfacing with clients to meet project deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction experience in semiconductor industry, focused on tool install and progressive scopes
• Experience coordinating construction in a wafer manufacturing facility
• Construction Management or Engineering degrees highly encouraged
• Experience with trades contractors and field coordination to meet schedules/deliverables
• Experience in client-facing roles and managing client expectations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities for semiconductor tool install within a live facility
• Oversight of field execution to meet client schedule and deliverables
• Engage with trades contractors and design teams to ensure proper installation scope and safety
• Support with problem-solving and applying best practices in fast-paced environments
