Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Tool Install Construction Coordinator (Superintendent) with a semiconductor tool install background to coordinate construction in a wafer manufacturing environment at a client site.

This on-site role in Manassas, VA requires early start hours and some Saturdays, with responsibility to oversee field coordination, work with trades, read design packages, and ensure schedule and safety.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of construction experience in the semiconductor industry, specific to tool install and progressive build scopes of work.
• Construction Management or Engineering degrees highly encouraged.
• Experience working directly with trades contractors and providing field coordination and oversight to meet client schedule and deliverables.
• Experience working in client-facing roles, managing client expectations and needs.
• Experience managing semiconductor tool install scopes of work.
• Familiarity reading and interpreting design packages for semiconductor tool hookups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tool install construction within a wafer manufacturing facility.
• Provide field coordination and oversight to meet client schedule and deliverables.
• Work with trades contractors and review design packages for semiconductor tool hookups.
