Jacobs in Manassas, VA is seeking a Tool Install Construction Coordinator (Superintendent) with expertise in coordinating semiconductor tool installs within a live wafer fabrication environment.

You will work on-site Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays as needed, supporting project timelines and client expectations. The role requires strong coordination skills across trades, A&E liaisons, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of construction experience in the semiconductor industry, specific to tool install and progressive build scopes of work.
• Construction Management or Engineering degrees highly encouraged.
• Experience working directly with trades contractors and providing field coordination and oversight to meet client schedule and deliverables.
• Experience working in client-facing roles, managing client expectations and needs.
• Experience managing semiconductor tool install scopes of work.
• Familiarity working with A&E firms, reading and interpreting design packages for semiconductor tool hook up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Displayed ability to learn quickly with an internal drive to broaden intellectual knowledge base.
• Comfortable working in cross-matrix organizations comprised of client management, factory management, trade contractors, vendors and 3rd party representatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate semiconductor tool install scopes of work on site and ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Liaise with trades contractors, A&E firms, and client representatives to meet deliverables.
• Provide field coordination and oversight to maintain safety, quality, and performance targets.
• Adapt to fast-paced changes and contribute ideas to improve installation processes.
