Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Manager of Semiconductor Sourcing (Starlink) to own end-to-end strategy, supplier management, and delivery of semiconductor components. You will lead a team, define commodity strategy, and build multi-year roadmaps while optimizing cost, quality, speed, and resilience across Starlink programs.

The role requires a strategic leader with strong commercial and technical acumen, capable of navigating ambiguous, high-velocity environments and delivering results through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in one or more of the listed areas, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in a management role with direct reports.
• Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals to ensure continuity of supply for hardware.
• Drive standardization and scalability of planning, workflow, tools and resources.
• Assess employee performance and take corrective actions when needed.
• Own vision and strategy for assigned categories through NPI and production phases.
• Visit supplier facilities to assess capability and capacity for contracts.
