SpaceX is seeking an experienced Manager, Semiconductor Sourcing (Starlink) in Bastrop, TX to own end-to-end sourcing strategy, supplier management, and execution for leading-edge semiconductor components. You will partner with design engineering to define commodity strategy, build multi-year roadmaps, and secure high-speed supply across production programs.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree required or 10+ years related experience in lieu.
• 3+ years of experience in a management role with direct reports.
• Experience in semiconductor sourcing, procurement, or supply chain for hardware products preferred.

• Lead a team of sourcing specialists, managers, and/or global supply managers to secure continuous hardware supply.
• Drive improvements, standardization, and scalable planning processes across the org.
• Assess employee performance and address issues with feedback or corrective actions.
• Own category vision and strategy through NPI and production, including cost management and supplier development.
• Visit supplier facilities to assess capability, financial health, and capacity for new products.
• Conduct supplier analysis on direction, capacity, risk, and market position.
• Define SLAs/KPIs with stakeholders and evaluate supplier performance across key metrics.
• Present value propositions to SpaceX executives on contracts and cost optimization.
• Guide internal customers on manufacturability, trade analysis, onboarding, and quality.
