Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager for semiconductor components to own end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and delivery. You will partner with design engineering, define commodity strategy, build roadmaps, and secure scalable supply for high-speed production in AI-driven programs.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong commercial and technical acumen, and a proven track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 6+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies; own semiconductor commodity.
• Understand electronic components to identify design, cost, and reliability opportunities.
• Own vendor management and negotiations to meet NPI schedules.
• Create supply strategy to ensure production readiness and mitigate risks.
• Develop and manage domestic and international supplier base for components.
• Guide internal engineering customers on supplier selection and best-fit parts.
• Monitor demand signals and place purchase orders accordingly; track delivery performance.
• Present value propositions to executives on contracts, cost reviews, and supply issues.
• Work with supply chain engineers on NPI and production requirements; drive continuous improvement.
