Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager to own end-to-end sourcing of semiconductor components for the Starlink program in Bastrop, TX. You will lead commodity strategy, build roadmaps, and secure high-volume, cost-effective supply for rapid build speeds.

The ideal candidate has strategic leadership, exceptional commercial/technical acumen, and a track record of delivering results in high-velocity environments. On-site role with extensive travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of sourcing/ procurement or related experience
• Experience in engineering, purchasing, or contract negotiations
• Materials planning, supply chain management, and cost control experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for semiconductors.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
• Create supply strategies to ensure production readiness and mitigate risk.
• Develop supply base domestically and internationally for electronic components.
• Advise internal engineering on supplier selection and capabilities.
• Track demand, place PO, and monitor delivery performance.
