Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a Maintenance Technician for its Essex Junction Fab 9 200mm facility, a 24/7 operation. You will monitor, sustain and improve equipment, and collaborate with production teams and area engineers to resolve issues.

Key duties include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment status reporting, and shift pass-down communication. Strong safety adherence and cleanroom environment experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience (electrical or mechanical).
• Associate degree in engineering technology preferred.
• English language fluency (written and verbal).
• Basic computer/navigation skills (Windows, Office, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain and improve equipment and processes in assigned area.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills.
• Communicate equipment status and shift pass downs to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Follow FAB8 EHS&S policies and maintain a safe work environment.
