GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, VT is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Fab 9, a 200mm facility operating 24/7. You will monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes, partnering with production teams and area engineers to ensure manufacturing readiness.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, experience with troubleshooting, and adherence to EHS&S policies. Shift flexibility and the ability to work in a cleanroom are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• English language proficiency required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift 50 lbs with two-person lift when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate status updates.
• Work with production teams and area engineers.
• Follow FAB8 EHS&S policies.
• Document events and end-of-shift pass downs.
