Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta seeks a Maintenance Technician for its 300mm fab, providing monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes. You will collaborate with production teams and area engineers to ensure equipment readiness and operational uptime, performing preventative and corrective maintenance as needed.

The role requires good communication, safety discipline, and ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with alternating week shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a technical degree or military/equivalent experience.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and sustainment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per procedures.
• Communicate equipment status to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Adhere to EHS&S policies and safety standards.
• Work in cleanroom environments and wear required PPE.
