Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, qualify, and service advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, with emphasis on precision alignment and verification of semiconductor capital equipment. You will work cross-functionally with regional teams, engineering, and customers to ensure flawless installations.

Applicants should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, and possess strong knowledge in electronics, optics, and electro-mechanical

Qualifications

• Master's level degree required, with 0 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems.
• Experience with high-vacuum systems preferred.
• Comfort with Windows, Unix, or similar operating environments and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate across regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify performance and transfer ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and secure warranty sign-off on new tools.
