Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field installation engineer to deploy and qualify advanced semiconductor capital tools at customer sites worldwide. You will coordinate with regional engineering teams and customers to ensure performance meets specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include setup, calibration, documentation, and timely communication of progress. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, extensive electronics/optics knowledge, and the ability to work across cultures

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems.
• Experience with high-vacuum systems strongly preferred.
• Comfort with Windows, Unix, or similar environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work across cultures, functions, and geographies.
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with related work experience as specified.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations meet schedule and quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance.
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time.
• Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.
