Job summary

KLA is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, diagnose, and repair semiconductor tools at customer sites, with extensive travel required. You will collaborate with senior engineers, prepare reports, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Required qualifications include an AS/Tech degree or equivalent and experience supporting complex capital equipment in semiconductor environments. Domestic and international travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting complex capital equipment in semiconductors.
• Ability to install, diagnose, repair and optimize tools at customer sites.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Install new tools at customer sites following procedures and ensure on-time, quality delivery.
• Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems related to installation.
• Troubleshoot and repair moderate system-level issues with escalation to senior engineers as needed.
• Prepare field service reports and communicate progress and non-conformances.
• Manage travel documents and scheduling for extended travel periods.
• Maintain personal schedules and finances to support travel commitments.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and managers to plan POAs.
