Extra Space Storage is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations at one or more Louisville-area self-storage locations. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, driving unit rentals and ancillary sales, and maintaining spotless facilities and accurate financial controls.

The Store Manager will lead by example to build strong customer relationships, handle payments, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED required; college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Ensure highest cleanliness standards through site maintenance of building, grounds, and offices.
• Perform daily safety inspections including lock checks.
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and site usage.
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, process payments, and complete daily bank deposits.
• Oversee routine administrative tasks, such as auction files, delinquent accounts, budgets, and deposits.
