Job summary

Extra Space Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Texas to support daily operations at one or more self-storage locations under guidance from the District Manager and Store Manager.

You will build strong customer relationships, execute a structured sales process, and manage customer accounts while maintaining top cleanliness standards and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing work experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards through regular site maintenance of the building, office, and surroundings.
• Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and site usage.
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, and complete daily deposits.
