Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC, owner and operator of Prime Storage Group, is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations at multiple self-storage facilities across Maine and New Hampshire. You will manage rentals, customer interactions, maintenance, and sales initiatives to maintain high occupancy and curb appeal.

The role requires 2–4 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting with some P&L experience; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with direct involvement in profit-and-loss management.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer interactions in person and over the phone to meet tenants' needs.
• Generate sales and maintain high occupancy through effective advertising and customer relations.
• Manage daily operations including collections, deposits, and customer calls.
• Show and rent units by understanding tenant needs and offering the best storage solutions.
• Sell merchandise, upsell insurance, schedule moving trucks, and cross-sell other facilities.
• Assist with auction preparations and tenant communications with compassion.
• Maintain the facility’s curb appeal by ensuring it is clean, safe, and secure, and perform minor maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
