Job summary

Prime Storage Group is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations at self-storage facilities, driving occupancy, customer satisfaction, and security. You will oversee tenant interactions, rent processing, and merchandise sales while coordinating maintenance and safety protocols across sites.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, sales acumen, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences across multiple locations in Utah.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of customer-facing experience in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer interactions both in-person and over the phone to meet tenants' needs.
• Use creativity to generate sales and maintain high occupancy levels through effective advertising and customer relations.
• Manage daily operations, including collections, deposits, and customer calls.
• Show and rent units by understanding tenant needs and offering the best storage solutions.
• Actively sell merchandise, upsell insurance, schedule moving trucks, and cross-sell other facilities.
• Assist with auction preparations, handling tenant communications with compassion.
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and actively contribute to achieving positive customer reviews and feedback, in alignment with company customer-experience standards and performance expectations.
• Maintain the facility’s “curb appeal” by ensuring it is clean, safe, and secure, and performing minor maintenance.
