Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within the district, focusing on customer service and property maintenance. You will interact with customers, lease units, process payments, and help ensure a safe, clean facility.

The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, performing daily tasks, and working both independently and with teammates. Weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Physical duties include daily walks of the property, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs), and maintaining a clean facility.
