Job summary

Mini Mall Storage is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Self Storage) for a part-time daytime role in Birmingham, AL. You will blend customer service, sales, and operations to help customers choose storage solutions while keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in person, by phone, and online; converting leads through consultative selling; handling payments; and supporting maintenance and safety of the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or property management is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Background check is required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and online.
• Convert leads into rentals through consultative selling and relationship building.
• Complete rental agreements, payments, and customer documentation accurately.
• Support collections, delinquency management, and auction processes.
• Conduct property inspections and maintain unit inventory.
• Ensure the facility meets cleanliness, safety, security, and brand standards.
• Process payments and complete daily business reconciliation.
• Support maintenance and property improvement initiatives.
• Safely lift, carry, and transport materials up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
