Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Construction Engineer to support Self-Perform Work (SPW) on complex projects in Colorado. You will review drawings, collaborate with SPW crews, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure scope, schedules, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in construction engineering or project engineering is required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Review contract drawings, specifications, and submittals for SPW scopes and ensure technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with SPW managers, superintendents, and project teams to resolve technical questions.
• Monitor SPW activity schedules and budgets, track labor productivity, and report variances for corrective actions.
• Support implementation of SPW quality assurance and safety protocols across all phases.
• Prepare and maintain SPW project documentation (daily crew reports, logs, field changes).
